My journey into health & wellness started many years ago in 1998 when I became pregnant for the first time. I intuitively knew that it mattered what I put in my body while growing a little human. 

My first big eye-opener was witnessing the effects food can have on our bodies when I changed my second son’s diet at 5 years of age. He had major digestive issues since birth that no doctor could help with, so I took him to a Naturopath who told us that he was sensitive to numerous foods including dairy, gluten, pork, egg, sugar, and more. To our amazement, not only did his digestion issues drastically improve but he went from being a highly emotional 5-year-old to a happy-go-lucky little boy. Everyone noticed the change in him and from that time on, I have always been adamant that what we put in our bodies matters.

I feel like I have so much to share with other women. I’ve gone through a divorce and was a single mom to my 2 amazing boys. I’m also a Stepmom to 2 boys and had my last boy in 2016 at the age of 41. I have experimented with many “diets” over the years, including following a  strict vegan diet for over ten tears. Along the way, I became a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, a Certified Yoga Teacher, and a Certified NLP/Life Coach. I love learning and will never stop. I can’t really describe the desire to learn so much about health and wellness but I just find it fascinating what our bodies can do and how they can heal. In the last ten years, I have healed irritable bowel syndrome, eczema, psoriasis, hot flashes, night sweats, aching joints, inflammation, anxiety, chronic fatigue, unexplained rashes, and brain fog. My third pregnancy at 40/41 was just as easy as the first two in my early twenties and I had a beautiful, quick home birth and a quick recovery.

I am always learning and adding more new healthy habits to my daily routine and taking away what no longer serves me.

I’ve been wanting to start this blog for a long time because people are always asking me to share recipes and want to know what I do in regard to nutrition, exercise, meditation, and how I feed my son.

I believe anybody can heal and we all deserve a happy, fulfilling life. I hope I can inspire you to take steps toward a happier, healthier life!

My Mission

My mission is to help women that have tried everything to lose weight, gain energy, clear brain fog, decrease inflammation and just live a healthier life. I offer course and group coaching and my free podcast as a variety of choices to support you on your journey.
